As a reminder to our Parents and Community members, Alba Public School will be holding school on November 1, 2023. Originally this date was sent up to be a Regional Professional Development Day with no students in attendance, but the ISD changed that to November 7, 2023, As such, we have school on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, and not on November 7th.
I am sorry to inform our parents and community members that today, October 30, 2024, Becky Beagle is unable to take the students home after school. Her mother is not well and she must go downstate to be with her. As such, we are asking any parents who can pick up their students after school at 3:05 p.m. In addition, she will not be able to drive the bus route tomorrow, November 31, 2023, for the same reason. Please make arrangements to get your students to and from school tomorrow. A reminder we have the annual Trunk or Treat for the students tomorrow until 3:30 p.m.
As a reminder, Alba Public School will be holding the monthly Community Luncheon at 11:30 tomorrow, 11-31-23. Please come out and join us for lunch with he kids. Following the luncheon, our younger students will be taking part in the annual Halloween Parade!

Friday, September 29, 2023 at 10"30 a.m. Alba Public School will be holding our Monthly
Community Luncheon. Students will arrive at approximately 11:00 a.m. Please feel free to attend lunch with our students. Miss Tina will be creating hotdogs, sausages, potato salad, and salad bar for the luncheon. We look forward to seeing our community memebers at the luncheon.
CALENDAR CHANGE - Originally the Redional Staff Development Day listed as November 1, 2023, on the Alba Public School Clanedar has been changed to November 7, 2023. This will allow our faculty and staff the opportunity to meet with and take continuing education coursework with regional educators. As such, no students need to attend school on November 7, 2023.

Alba Public School's annual Ice Cream Social.
Volleyball will begin practicing On Wednesday, August 16th, Thursday, August 17th, and Friday, August 18th in the gym at the school from 3:30 to 5:30 daily. Athletes will need physicals completed prior to practicing. Physical forms can be picked up in the office daily from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
