As a reminder to the students, parents, and community members of Alba Public School the Easter Egg Hunt which was postponed yesterday due to the school closure Star Township Fired Department and Alba Pblic School will be holding the Easter Egg Hunt this morning at 9:30 a.m. We will be holding the event indoors today due to the possibility of bad weather. Please come to the school and support your child and feel free to bring any younger siblings to also participate in the event.
Good Afternoon Alba Public School Community. Earlier today, we entered into a soft lockdown as a safety precaution. In less than an hour, the soft lockdown was lifted. Our staff and students were safe and secure at all times. As always the safety of our students is our top priority. Thank you

We invite all of our community members to come to the school and enjoy a meal prepared by Miss tina. She will be serving Baked Chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, vegetables, and a salad bar. We look forward to seeing all of our community members this Friday!.
On Thursday, March 23, 2023, Becky Beagle will be driving the morning bus run but is unable to drive the p.m. rung. She is needed downstate to assist her mother. As such, Alba Public School is asking the parents to arrange rides home after school for their students.
Star Township Fire Department will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt at Alba Public School on April 5, 2023. We invite students of Alba Public School and any other younger kids in the community to join us that day!

2023 Alba Sledding Day!
On Friday, March 3, 2023, Alba Public School is planning to hold our annual sledding day with the students. This is a make-up date from February 17, 2023. Students may bring sleds and snowboards to school if they like and we invite parents and community members to attend. The festivities will start at approximately 9:00 a.m. on the Athletic Field behind the school.
In preparing for the Community Luncheon, several students helped out setting up and making sure everything was ready for our guests. We hope to see as many community members as possible at 11:30 this morning for lunch!

February 14, 2023, was the one-hundredth day of school for Alba Public School during the 22-23 school year. In celebration of this, all of the building students gathered in the gym for a picture.
On Friday, February 17, 2023, Alba Public School is planning on holding a sledding day for our students. This of course is dependent upon the snow. We will be going outside at approximately 9:30 a.m. and sledding for most of the day. Lunch will be provided outside and we welcome all our community members to join us in the hollow/athletic field for a fun-filled day/ Students are allowed to bring sleds, snowboards and the like to school that day.
The kindergarten and first grade students had a great time playing Tug-of-War in Gym class on Tuesday.
The Alba Public School transportation system will not be running on Thursday, February 2, 2023. Our driver Becky Beagle is needed downstate to be with her mother on Thursday. As such, all bus runs for the day are cancelled, but school will remain in session. If at all possible, we would ask that you bring your student and pick them up from school that day.
